For some time now, I have been presenting the connection between VMS and the Ethiopian Book of Enoch, but recent discoveries show that this is just the tip of the iceberg. (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.), HMML Proj. Num. IES 00630, IES 00295
Folio f6v  - DATURA STRAMONIUM
In Ethiopia, the spiritual and esoteric use of Datura stramonium revolves primarily around traditional Orthodox Christian scholarship, mysticism, and judicial divination. Locally known by its Amharic name Atefar or Yezege Reda, the plant occupies a unique and controversial niche where religion, magic, and education intersect. Yezege Reda (የዘጌ ረዳ), Literal Translation: "Helper of Enlightenment" or "Assistant for Opening the Mind". The leaves are stylized into a seven-pointed star because In Ethiopian spirituality and mysticism, the seven-pointed star (generally called in Amharic as part of the Talismans or Solomon's Seals) has deep protective and esoteric significance.

Is there a possibility that the author simply redrew these illustrations in his book? Is it possible that the author used the book of Enoch to write his own book, but did not rewrite it? Although I am still new to this topic, I am asking these questions out of curiosity.

At this point, I think the authors have strictly transformed the First and Second Books of Enoch into some kind of angelic symbolic language and used a great deal of knowledge to introduce sacred geometry and other ciphers into the book.

For a better understanding of the use of these patterns. The author of VM must have known the deep meaning of these patterns. He probably studied this art of scroll making directly in Ethiopia. He used these symbols in VM in folio Ros2 to describe the 3rd heaven. According to 2 Enoch. These patterns are intended to catch and imprison fallen angels and dark beings. They are also intended to protect the righteous.

Yes, I understand that. But the question is different. Are you considering the possibility that this is not the book of Enoch itself, but rather the book of a pilgrim or merchant who traveled to Ethiopia? He could have approached the Ethiopian Christians and pointed out that they had a remarkable book that no one in Europe knew about, and draw it or, say, write it down. Your arguments and examples of similarity are interesting and convincing, but they can also be explained by the fact that the author traveled to Ethiopia to study its culture (well, first of all, anything related to medicine).

So far it seems that the entire passages from the Book of Enoch are identical to the illustrations. Especially the astronomical part is also from the Book of Enoch. Anything is possible. So far I have found that the VM does not start with the first chapter of the Book of Enoch, but only with the second. It is possible that it is a shuffle of the pages of the VM, or the author also had incomplete fragments available. I suspect that Kircher and Pieresc, who tried to obtain the Book of Enoch, may be among the authors.

I think this is a bit far-fetched. As far as I can tell, only t and d are credible examples. What is your direct evidence for this origin of the symbols?

I described the origin of these symbols in the post with symbols with characterés loops. I also mentioned the connections of VM with magical scrolls. This is a new discovery in which I show how these symbols are created in Ethiopian healing. I am not an expert on this topic, but I recommend you to check out the book in the link. From it I gave examples of magical symbols in plants. Thanks to this (Solomon's protective) grid, I am able to create any sign in VM. I will publish everything as I discover it.
