The main difference between the standard 24-hour system and the 18-part Enochian system (described in the apocryphal Book of Enoch) lies in the length of the base time unit and the method of measuring the changing ratio of daylight to darkness. While the 24-hour system is fixed and mathematically uniform for modern science, the Enochian system served as an ancient schematic model to track seasons and solstices. This system is on folio f67v1.
I also attach Ethiopian diagrams, which, like folio f67v1, contain 6+6 heavenly gates at the top and bottom. These images are of a more recent date, but are processed according to the traditional ancient Ethiopian diagrams.

BritLib ms. Orient. 816 (also cataloged as Or 816) is a 19th-century Ethiopian manuscript held by the British Library in London. It is written in the ancient Ge'ez language and belongs to the famous Maqdala collection looted during the British expedition in 1868.
This is my current preliminary hypothesis of how the text is encrypted in the VM.
All linguistic traces are removed from it and it is transformed into a graphic hologram - angelic language, radiant, according to ancient Ethiopian methodology.
No, I haven't gone crazy yet.
Symbols on folio f42v, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. – hypothesis of the origin of the symbol
The starting background for this hypothesis is the number of indicators and clues leading to the Ethiopian version of the Book of Enoch.
When browsing ancient Ethiopian manuscripts related to the Book of Enoch, you will come across a large number of different symbols that show similarities to the symbols in the VMS. The symbols are provided with loops and rings.
When asking AI what these symbols and loops mean in Ethiopian history, you will get a very comprehensive answer regarding angelic, demonic, divine symbols, used especially in magical scrolls.
The name of these symbols can be CHARAKTÊRES (Richard Gordon CHARAKTÊRES BETWEEN ANTIQUITY AND RENAISSANCE TRANSMISSION AND RE-INVENTION)
These symbols can also be found under the terms Ketav malakhim (Angelic alphabet)
What are these symbols for
A common feature of the signs is that they are ineffable. Because they have no phonetic value. They are purely visual symbols. Their ineffability was often perceived as a sign of their immense power. They were usually considered symbols from the writing of various angels and provided a means of communication with the divine world.
(You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.).
They are not passive signs, but active emitters into which the author has inserted the necessary information. In other words, these signs are not read, but are allowed to act according to this ancient methodology. The book is like an emitter.
Why is the content encrypted in these symbols?
The goal was to transcend human reason, according to tradition these characters come directly from the Angels. By shedding the word from its usual textual form and rewriting it into geometric lines and knots, it became a permanent luminary.

How the source text is encrypted ?
The resulting visual form was unique each time. These symbols were created by the so-called Däbtär. They were not only spiritualists, but also folk artists. They learned from centuries-old manuals and books of secret teachings (such as the Awda Nagast - The Book of Magical Stars). The resulting tangle of characters could look very chaotic and original, even though it was built on a solid foundation.
Symbols are ideograms, not an alphabet
Ethiopian magic signs do not represent sounds. They are so-called ideograms or pictograms. One complex symbol with eyes can express an entire concept - for example, "the name of the archangel Michael", "the binding of the demon" or "divine light". There is no key (such as Morse code or Caesar cipher) that would decompose the symbols into individual words.
Intentional destruction of text
The creators (däbtäras) deliberately distorted the text when creating the image. When the däbtära redrawn the already distorted foreign word into the form of the magical symbol CHARAKTÊRES, the original linguistic trace was definitively lost. It is impossible for modern scientists to reconstruct the original word from mere circles and lines. The only way to understand the symbols is through contextual analysis.
Point procedure
1. First, a text is selected (e.g. the Book of Enoch)
2. Deconstructing the text so that it loses human readability, isolating the letters
3. Geometrization of the text, deformation, folding, simplification
4. Abstraction, characters are simplified
5. Substitution of letters using gematria
6. Adding loops and small circles
Can the symbols be retranslated into the original text?
No, in most cases it is not possible, because the magical symbols of CHARAKTÊRES and related Ethiopian talismans do not work like a classical cipher or alphabet, where each symbol corresponds to a specific letter. The linguistic and grammatical trace of the original text is removed, but the exact rhythm and gematria are preserved with respect to the original text.
Note. This is not a professional text, this is only an internet search and list of topics and areas.

Symbols from ancient Ethiopian magical scrolls and protective and healing magic are found in many places in VMS.

The symbols that you are comparing with this angelic script are a select few rare examples. What about the other 99% of the text? Considering you went down this route, I also find it incredible that you match those symbols to those ones specifically. Why not match them with the far more similar symbol on the rosettes and those on f67v1?

None of the sources you provided discuss these symbols as related to ethiopian history and works, do they? The closest is john dee's "conferences with angels" which discusses an enochian alphabet. Be wary of AI, it will tell you whatever you want to hear.

No, don't worry, I won't ask AI, I search for everything manually first, it has to be related to the specific text of the Book of Enoch. That's why I'm definitely looking for something specific. Before I can identify anything in VMS, I have to go through the Book of Enoch first, then a lot of historical European, Byzantine, Ethiopian, Orthodox, Astronomical and artistic sources, including reading studies and books. VMS has multiple manuscripts and each thing can come from a different real inspiration, but it must always respect the text of the Book of Enoch. I have already identified the first image you mention in this thread according to the Book of Enoch. The second one has several meanings for me at the moment, which I haven't verified from multiple sources yet. As for the text, I didn't want to get into that, but at the moment it looks like the same encryption method was used as I described in the last post.

I think you are right that these symbols will also belong to the group I originally mentioned. There will be many more in VMS. They will not only be Ethiopian, but also Jewish Malachim, Charakteres and others. It is Enoch, Metatron, so the angelic alphabet. Thank you for the note and help. If you discover anything else, I will be happy if you put it in this thread. I will try to compile a table of functional links.

The name "Adam's health" comes from Amharic (the official language of Ethiopia), where the plant Ruta chalepensis (fringed rue) is called "Tena’adam" (ጤና አዳም). The word tena means health and adam refers to the biblical Adam, the first man
In Ethiopian traditional medicine, this herb is considered a universal cure for such a wide variety of ailments that, according to local legends, it can symbolically restore health to all of humanity (all descendants of Adam)
In this way, plants and herbs are used to depict parables from the Book of Enoch.

Well, I'll be darned. Never thought that I would see a real flower that looked like that VMS drawing.

The color mismatch is of course irrelevant.

But You are not allowed to view links. All the best, --stolfi
These symbols contain the secret names of God, Archangels, Jesus, who have absolute spiritual authority over the spiritual world.
The ending with balls works as a magical protective seal. A trap for evil spirits, when a demon gets caught in the sign and is immobilized
The horizontal line with balls at the top symbolizes the celestial vault or divine sphere, the lower loop points to the ground. It symbolizes the connection between heaven and earth.
This magical system allows individual isolated symbols to be connected together and create entire figures, faces with eyes. These eyes are important and represent the all-seeing eyes of God and Archangel.
The transformation of magical symbols into the form of entire bodies of angels, demons and guardians is characteristic of the Ethiopian ritual art of Tälsäm.
