I myself also tried to find correspondences between the Voynich script and the Greek alphabet even before registering on this forum. I didn’t come to any conclusion.
I find it incompatible (rather illogical than incompatible) to search for similarities without any analysis or justification for this search. That is, if you say that Voynichese is Greek/resembles Greek/might be related to Greek, mere similarities and checks of hapax prove nothing.
It’s not that you’re some kind of poor analyst or translator, but that you can find a lot of similarities. For example, let’s break down the word teeodaiin:
teeo - Perhaps this is a distorted form of the prefix “theo-,” which is added to words related to religion: theology, theodicy, theophany.
daiin - If we assume that d = s, a = ei, and the final in is n, we get the wonderful German word “Sein” — the verb “to be.”
It turns out to be “theo-sein” — something like “divine being.”
Nevertheless, I find your analysis interesting (and useful for you, as it certainly reinforces your knowledge of Greek
), but meaningless. As far as I remember, in all your translations of words, you propose several possible translations without arriving at a single, definitive one. I hope, then, that you are familiar with a person such as Gerard Cheshire...

First, I never claimed to be able to translate the entire text; I am, in fact, still trying, with great hope.
Second, I would like to understand the connection between my reading attempts and the name Gerard Cheshire, or someone else?
Third, I am still waiting for the words you promised in several languages. So far you have only provided four: three in Russian and one in German. -

2). Cheshire was looking for words in European languages that were similar to his own transliteration. You only use EVA and look for similarities only in Greek.

Sholdy - ходить? (to walk?)

First, this is language A; I'm currently more interested in language B.

Second, you read sh as х and ш; is there a reason for that? If shol is шёл, then sholdy would be шёлди and not ходить?

At that time, I read the combination «ol» as "ου". Currently I read it as « ολ », « οι » or « α ».
I’ve also changed my mind about «k», which I used to try to divide between « ν » and « μ » depending on the position of the horizontal bar.
However, examining a few words beginning You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. has shown that the horizontal bar might not be a reliable indicator, so both variants should be systematically tested.
So, if
k = ν, μ,
ol= ολ, οι, α,
e= ι, ε,
ch=γ, κ, χ,
y= η, ος, etc.,
the word can therefore be μᾰνῐκός, ή, όν – of or for madness, mad; generally, mad, extravagant; Adv. μᾰνῐκῶς; disposed to madness; frenzied, enthusiastic, inspired; causing madness.
