  Hi all,
  
  I was wondering if has been considered that the charm on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. could be a book curse? I recently realized that many manuscripts from a similar time period have something along the lines of "If you steal this book, you will be cursed!" The only problem to this speculation is that I, after a brief search, have not found any similar matches.

  According to many medieval experts, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is in fact a curse, that renders the manuscript undecipherable. However this remains to be confirmed, as not even these experts can decipher the charm itself.

  I think it is unlikely. 
  
  While some curses may not be documented as curses, because no one knows if they are or not (magical symbols n such), the ones we know of let the person know they are cursed and what will happen to them. It is not much of a deterent if no one can read it. 
  
  Also you tend to see "may he be struck down by god/other authoritive or fear inducing name" Maria wasn't the "striking down" sort of gal.
