1. It’s interesting—and frustrating—how much we seem to be talking past each other. I don’t know how else to make this any clearer with those 21 examples. I’m giving up—which doesn’t mean I’m convinced (not at all)—but there’s no point in repeating the same thing again in different words. So let’s just leave it at that
