  The first object has a mismatch in shape. On f116v, it’s something more bag‑like and it hangs down.
  
  I don’t see any stylistic similarities between the nymphs. I just see that they’re poorly drawn people.

  Not sure about that object, though its shape at the bottom is quite interesting. I really like the comparison in your last picture, though. You wouldn't really compare the clothed figures in this MS to anything in the VM, but the nude ones do show a lot of similarities.

  I agree. The way the second leg is occulted by the first, when making a forward step, seems to be close to the style of nymphs in the VMS.
