  So the word I marked is "lue3", where 3 stand for final -n. The positioning of the macron is irregular, often wide. I wonder if the scribe saw this as general shorthand rather than indicating where exactly the m was omitted? So "lue3" with a bar over it means "lucem", doesn't matter where the bar is?

  Hi Koen,
  I agree it is "lue3" (while the Voynich word looks like "kuc3"). In these examples it appears to mean "lumen" (not "lucem"). 
  
  I think the position of the macron could vary considerably in general. It sometimes just marked "abbreviation", but here it seems to have its ordinary function of "missing m".

  I still believe that the most obvious form is the dialect form of kurz spoken without an ‘r’.
  Ergo. kuez, with a macron kueze or kuezen, kuezem.
  Deutsch: kurz, kurze, kurzen, kurzem.
  English: short, short, short, short.
  
  However, I have not been able to find an example so far.

  I believe -ꝫ stands for m, ē stands for en. The order inversion is weird but weird abbreviation happen.

  @ aga aber vuo3 (wobei das 3 ein z ist) kennst du für Fuß doch bestimmt? Dann muss es das doch auch für Mehrzahl Füße = vueze geben, im Dativ dann vuezen, dass man dann das "en" mit Makron rausschreibt ist doch palaoligisch nachvollziehbar. Und die f / v Verschiebung ist ja bekannt. 
  
  @ aga but vuo3 (where the 3 is a z) you surely know that for foot, right? Then it must also exist for the plural feet = vueze, in the dative then vuezen, and it is palaeologically understandable that the ‘en’ is written out with a macron. And the f / v shift is well known.

  There is a weird c̄ꝫ in a marginal note (by Petrus de Abano I suppose) on the first page of theYou are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. of the Latin translation of Dioscorides by Constantinus Africanus. Usually printed editions simplify/sanitize the abbreviations... so maybe it was an error by the printer or he could not figure out the meaning of the word and tried to imitate the abbreviation in the manuscript.

  My guess: a made-up Latin verb derived from the Greek ἀπόκριση / ἀπόκρισις meaning answer.

  Singular Fues, plural Fües.
  He stands ‘on both feet’. But in Alemannic it is still ‘uff beide Fües’. No macron is needed.
  I have seen ‘Fass’ written as ‘vas’.
  The ending -uez / -üez is rare; I can only think of five examples. And with ‘L’ I can't think of any.
  
  
  Einzahl Fues, Mehrzahl Fües.
  Er steht "auf beiden Füssen". Ist aber auf alemannisch immer noch "uff beide Fües". Es braucht kein Makron.
  Ich habe schon "Fass" als "vas" gesehen.
  Das ende -uez / -üez ist selten mir fallen gerade einmal 5 ein. Und mit "L kar keinen.

  If it's kurz, preceded by aller, wouldn't we expect a superlative? Like "the shortest of all"

  Ja, die vielen verschiedenen Dialekte im Deutschen  . Hier habe ich das Wort, zwar 18. Jahhundert (abgeschrieben), aber es existiert. 
  Yes, the many different german dialects  . Here I have the word for now. 18th century(written off), but it exists
