Linda, I accept your apologies, but please read what I write. Over time, I have given many reasons why the Rosettes are a cosmological representation. In my last post, I provided further evidence, but you prefer to keep thinking that it is a magical fairy land. You don't want to learn either.
If there is one thing that particularly bothers me, it is you saying that I have never claimed the Voynich is a medical book—until now. Please read the attached document from May 2018, when I first started contributing to the forum.
Thank you and I will keep reading what you write. I don't think it is a magical fairy land, actually, i was just taking the child theme to the limit, just to show that there are things we still may not have even thought of, per se, which might be more correct in terms of what the authors had in mind, we just don't have a way yet to be certain.
When you said it was a medical book, I actually asked AI to go though your thread looking for previous references thereof because i truly hadn't incorporated that into my understanding of your theory. But, it did not find any, other than the mention of medicinal plants. I may have missed things over the years, I haven't been here the whole time since i joined and may not have read everything in your thread, and it is rather daunting to think about starting it over again, as someone else recently mentioned. I am gearing up to revisit my own theory, since much of my old postings were image heavy with many dead links. I saw someone else asking you if there is a place to see your whole theory at once, maybe you could do a recap of sorts as well so all the new people can be aware of all the elements thereof, and anyone else who might have missed something along the way can be caught up too. But I don't see an attachment, sorry. I do think I understand the cosmological representation, though.
May I also ask which two cosmological pages you mentioned to ololololo? I went back 20 pages so far but did not see it yet, was it links or images? Thanks! If the attachment from May 2018 is a word document that explains the symbols, I am not able to open it at present with the device I am using. -

I didn’t really understand what you mean. If you’re referring to Antonio’s posts where he says it might be a magical language, then that’s somewhere on pages 2–4. On page 2, he says the text could have been created using a rotating dial. -

I couldn't remember any recent comparisons with other manuscripts so was wondering where these diagrams originated that were being compared, but now I realize they are from the vms itself. -

Everyone has seen that astronomical clock in the bottom left corner of the Rosettes foldout. That is what Professor Brumbaugh called it, but in reality, it is not a clock but a small volvelle—a medieval tool used for astronomical and astrological calculations.
We see that it is a small sphere with two concentric circles. Between the two circles are eight groups of three lines each. Each line represents 15 degrees or one hour, resulting in 360 degrees or 24 hours.
Inside, we see a triangle formed by three small circles connected by two lines. What that represents is the astrological aspect of the trine. A small circle represents the Sun, and the other two represent the Moon. The Sun joins the Moon in the two hemispheres at a distance of 120 degrees.
On folio f67v2, where the most important astrological aspects are depicted, the trine is the one located in the upper left. It consists of those three small heads joined in a triangle. -

What is your proof that it is a drawing of a volvelle? Not a clock, not a sigil and not some meaningless ornament?
Can you show some similar drawings of volvelles (not actual, moving volvelles but drawings of volvelles) in other sources as a reference? -

I can say a few words about the fact that Voynichese is a "magical" language.
I found this statement very interesting, as no one had ever proposed it in this form before. The tables at the end of Book of Soyga are notable for the fact that the arrangement of the letters in them is not random, but is formed thanks to a special and rather complex algorithm by the standards of that time. This may seem unexpected for a simple magical book, but nevertheless, it is so. And we don’t know why they were needed.
Here, I immediately recalled Thorsten Timm’s theory about self‑citation. After all, no one has ruled out the possibility that this book (or rather, something from it could have been an almanac) might have been deliberately created to be meaningless.
That is, as in the case of Book of Soyga, the author could have come up with their own algorithm for creating text, tried it out many times, and written the book in that way. Why they did this is, again, unknown.
This resonates with the fact that some plants appear schematic and composite, and with the overall incomprehensibility of the illustrations.
Expanding on the idea of meaningless text, I think that in such a case, at the very least, the illustrations should be meaningful. I don’t know exactly how, but it could well be astrology with a touch of magic.
The beauty of this theory is that it doesn’t seem excessive or absurd, and it seems to fit well within the tradition of medieval magical books, such as the Book of Soyga.
But it’s still unclear what the point of an unreadable book is… -

A little note:
Book of Soyga was made in the 1580s. Calling it "medieval" is really stretching the definition of Medieval Ages
It may be surprising to many people but there are actually very few strictly magical books from Medieval Ages. You will find much more grimoires, spellbooks and books inspired by Hermeticism and Kaballah in Reneissance and later.
Also in the Medieval Ages it's hard to say where science ends and magic begins.
Do you have any examples of Medieval magical books that could be compared to Voynich Manuscript ?
