In your list what is missing is the possibility of the forgery to obscure the ownership of the manuscript, while doing your best to come up with alternative, at times unserious, considerations. That is all I was saying, as a POSSIBILIY and you confirmed how benign considerations can minimize that possibility and thereby lose possibly significant explanatory considerations.
