If we were to give additional information; In the dialects of the Black Sea region of Turkey, the word SARAK is also used as the name of a mushroom plant species. However, I could not find the Latin name or an image of this plant. On the other hand, this plant is explained in dictionaries as the word SARAK.

Most likely, the author may be stating that the plant in question grows/proliferates on its own by spreading/expanding into the surrounding/proliferating, like the SARAK mushroom plant quickly. It will be possible to make a clearer inference when the entire page is translated into today's language.
