Do you mean this roof ?



It looks like the side view of this object (in principle), obviously not a cross.

 
The roof of the watch tower has a trapezoid shape with two metal prongs at the top. There are not crosses, nor the rusters which were characteristic for the Protestant churches. They can still be seen on at least two buildings in Slovenia, on the medieval castle of the Counts of Celje, and on Žiče Charterhouse.
