I rather see  a spoon with a never ending stream of liquid coming out of it, the mouth of the nymph is not touching the 'spoon handle',  the nymph has her arms tucked behind her back, strange to say, what I mean to say is I see a nymph with arms bent behind her back looking at a spoon from which comes a stream of liquid - not that I would bet on this
