  No Latin word starts with "olad".

  It means "olas" and is dialectal Bavarian for "alles" (everything).

  As explained in my study on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. this word has to be read correctly "povtas". The character v represents phonem u (like in Devs - Deus) but the English meaning is potash in Standard German Pottasche. It appears after the
  abbreviation ca v (= calx viva - unslaked quicklime). Tallow (tc) + calx viva + misce (mix) > saponification. This mixture resulted in a kind of soft soap which allowed the
  active components of the ointment to penetrate the skin more effectively. The trigraph sch developed only gradually replacing earlier spellings like s, sk, sc.

  There was a word in Middle High German: gaf = shell, husk, chaff (actually kaf/kaff)
  This came to be used figuratively in various expressions to refer to a trifle or something worthless (mostly figuratively).
  
  In more recent slang, this evolved into the word “Kaff” (meaning a small, unattractive village).
  
  But does that get us anywhere?

  Another possibility is that the final sign is a sigmoid (closed) s (ꟙ) rather than an abbreviation mark. In some 14th- and 15th-century cursive hands the two shapes can be similar. In that case, the word would simply be portas.

  Portas = you carry
  Multos = many
  Palsen = balm
  alada bas = a chunk of Nießwurz (hellebore) or Nießwurz is better (bas)

  Thanks for "alada bas", I had never thought of it as being two words. I just asked for the translation of "alada bas" in German, and it said "Just enough".
