  i was going over the voynich manuscrip and ive noticed something on the final pages and decided to give her a whirl. The stars in the margin(bullet points one would think) are inconsistent. on page 103(front and back) i used the stars as an "ommision" cypher, [coloured stars - discard letter] [non coloured stars keep letter]
  by doing so i have gotten

  stable-bound
  fixed-flux held)
  my going theory is that the manuscript is a dual cypher. latin hidden in a nonsensical cryptograph
  using the "star" margins as individual keys for each page of the final quire of pages. i believe that if my theory holds the "final steps" of the manuscript can be decoded allowing for the rest of the pages to follow suit.

  page 5 is where the first key begins to fail but switching to the second key on 104(recto and verso) identifiable latin(even if spelled incorrectly)returns.
  im extremely curious to see what someone with better resources than i to decipher further.

  by running each indiviual line through each "star cypher" in order you actually begin to get full sentences.
  ive been using a latin translator so obvi that some errors wil present

  [note so far ive only used the stars on pages 103-104 for this disciphering. however i do believe that each "section" uses multiple keys to produce a fully deciphered latin mauscript. by running each line through each key in order you should be able to further decipher the manuscript

  okay. so at the end of the manuscript, the stars (bullet points).
  each one is a "mask" to decrypt certain parts of the book.
  the stars signify what "caracters" youd keep. red means you discard the letter
  by using the stars pattern on various pages youll get a "veritcal" slice of the intended page(working theory is this was meant to be visually decyphered or read by the owner)
  the back of the book is an "index" to teach you how to read it.
  my process may bunk, but 103, ran with the star pattern from each page going forward.
  this process has lead me to believe that 103 is detailing a distillation or pressurized burnoff. like ye ole material science
  i have a strong presumption that this is latin through a grille cypher. using multiple cyphers per page would mean no one else could naitvely read the book

  in all honesty im looking at this thing, and its like looking at some of my own old cyphers. if it is then that would explain why nobody has "translated" it because its not a language but the obfuscation of one.
  upon applying my method folio 2 seems to detail a latex extraction from thistle like plants.

  Okay, but how do the stars map to a certain character? What is the actual working process here?
  
  You have provided actual transcriptions, can you show your working for a line? 
  
  If the first star on 103r is an indication to remove p from the lines until the next star, you still have unintelligible text, just with one less letter. If you are meant to use all of the stars at once, you both have to remove p but also include p, as the next white star is on the same letter.

  You just show some Latin text out of the blue. You don't explain how you got it and which parts of Voynichese text it matches.

  i guess im not explainig it very well. but essential point is the stars arent a "mapping"
  but a disregard key.
  by seqencing all of the stars in the final section you get the "masking" of the grille cypher.
  to "read" the book you would reread the lines multiple times with the different star masking.
  doing so has shown to reliably filter out "rare" characters, leaving latin words (often era appropriate shorthand or conjugations)
  as for working, yeah no catch 22 its all hand written scratches and i dont have a document scanner.
  you are correct to assume AI was used but not for the actual "cyphering"
  i used AI as a differential, attempting to interpret the illustrations in the botanical section. i should also preface that the voynich manuscript has been a long time fancy of mine, and this isnt my normal thing.
  i figured this would be the best place to pass on what ive found, even if it doesnt wind up being correct.
  
  (post note, i dont want accredation for this, i dont care about fame or fourtune.I stared looking at this manuscript in search of knowledge.)

  i will say this theory does rely on a few key assumptions.
  1 this book was written by "scribes" or apprentices dictated by a scholar(likely an alchemist or healer)
  2 whoever had this book made likely wanted to hide their "prized information"but still be able to read it without needing a physical key
  3 that the stars are meant to be a "plain sight" hint so that given enough time a fluent latin speaker would be able to "read' the hidden information. they indicate the "pattern" of words to read from the page
  4 the stars section is a "index" of instructions for information found on the pages with "Matching encryption"
  5 my personal bias that it is a letter by letter "phoneme" code is what produced the latin i posted previously
