Recipe for subduing evil spirits with spelt porridge. A counterattack against the dark.
In this article, I will talk about the discovery of the exorcism rite, which was perfected in the Voynich manuscript.
J.J.M. de Groot in the book "Demonology of ancient China" describes such a rite of exorcism.:
"Ge Hong also recommends fumigating the patient with smoke; its beneficial power is enhanced if substances that themselves have the ability to expel spirits, such as incense, vegetable resin or tiger claws, burn.
In order to cure women who, after entering into a relationship with a ghost, talk and laugh when they are alone, or are prone to melancholy and stupor, mix one liang of crushed realgar with two liang of pine resin and tiger claws: roll the resulting mixture into balls or pills and burn them at night in "a basket of fire", then carefully wrapping the woman so that only her head sticks out, put her on the basket. If she does not heal after the first time, then repeat the procedure once or twice, and she will get rid of the spell of the ghost" ("Zhou hou bi ji fan", ch.3, sec.17)
[Note from Pavel Konnov – Perhaps De Groot translated with a mistake, because you need to plant not on a basket, but in a basket, then the head will stick out from there].
And here is the most interesting part! The "Fire Basket" is the Pirovana [Пирована] from my translation of the Voynich manuscript! (Pirovana comes from the Greek (πυρός) - fire and wanne, an old Norse word that meant a vessel for water.)
Realgar has Sulfur in its composition! Now we are reading the translation of the page (15v):
"The
mortars of the castor oil doctors are burning in the evening, the aroma of the basement stench of the gifts of all Pirovani sulfur, cooking the domes of the furnaces with bitterness says: there is no story of old speech - just speech, the honors of the king, the speeches of the old, it is torn apart by the posts of the dialects of the walls word forefathers of words, chased by thieves of the Council of countries - the walls of the gangs of the victory of the adverb of words."
Explanation:
The
mortars of the castor doctors are burning in the evening, with the aroma of the basement: The sulfur, oven-brewed sadness of past events, which say that ancient words have passages with secret fateful messages that set the reader on the path created by the creator, and not on idle wandering around the world. The old speech was chased away by thieves from gangs engaged, among other things, in preserving the traditions of using ancient words. After all, as we know, Lord Drak destroyed many neighboring cities with the arrest of some individuals, i.e. with the destruction of cities, the keepers of the traditions of ancient words were destroyed.
Here, an adverb is not a part of speech denoting a sign of action, quality, etc., but rather some kind of code overlay on speech, a message read between the lines.
What does "Pirovana on sulfur, cooking domes of furnaces with bitterness" mean?
"Pirovana", or in another sense steam-van, is a steam bath of sulfur with boiling it on the dome of the furnace hot. In Alchemy, it is customary to hide the methods of obtaining certain substances, but thanks to the Internet, the request immediately revealed the cooking of sulfur from the bark of a tree (Fig. 322). The so-called Soviet chewing gum. The steam bath is made according to the principle of the same alchemical furnace on page 99r. and there is also a partition there.

So, as in the Chinese recipe, burning occurs at night, in the recipe from the manuscript it occurs in the evening, which is identical.
As in the Chinese recipe, sulfur (Soviet chewing gum) rolls into balls or pills (this is shown at the end of the video). However, tiger claws and pine resin are added to the Chinese recipe. In the Voynich manuscript, the ingredients are replaced with analogues.
Eg: The Chinese recipe uses a pine tree, and both larch and birch are used in various video instructions. The recipe from the Voynich manuscript uses Sandalwood.
Papaya is used instead of tiger claws. The Chinese recipe allows for the substitution of ingredients. In addition, spelt porridge and a couple of sweat are added to the recipe, I'll explain why. A Chinese recipe describes a ritual for exorcising ghosts. And the Voynich manuscript describes an improved method of subjugating spirits to the will of a woman.
Below are the drawings from the manuscript with the translation of the inscriptions
Let's read what kind of ingredients are painted next to the alchemy stove.
From right to left: "Hydrogen vapor", "Sulfur", "Basement fragrance", "Sandalwood", "Sweat vapor", then moved to another line: "Papaya", "Spelt".
The approximate operation of this alchemical furnace in Fig. 324 looks like this. The oven is divided into 2 parts, pour ammonia sweat into the lower part and mix it with water, heat it and get hydrogen vapor, which cooks porridge from spelt on a grid, like a steamer. Spelt absorbs steam and has specific properties, which I will tell you about later.
Next, I thought that this spelt was put to ripen in the basement like cheese, because for some reason there was an inscription "aroma of cellars". However, there is a further translation in another part of the book (15v) He explained that there was no need to put anything in the basement. This is the designation of sulfur.
Simultaneously with the "Scent of basements", there was an inscription: "the smell of sweat", which is intertwined with the passage on page (15r),
<...> "the drain is notched with swelling down the legs to the floor in a ditch along the vein of speechlessness and loss of time."
In the same chapter, I noticed that the women throughout the manuscript are not diving, but are submerged up to their feet.
I recently remembered a fragment of Nikolai Levashov's lecture on how lions and other wild animals are tamed. The trainer mixes sweat from his feet with food or drink. A predator, drinking human sweat, eventually begins to obey him.
In the human wedding ceremony, there is a similar ritual where the husband must drink champagne from the woman's shoe. This rite also served to ensure that the man obeyed (became a slave) to his bride [90]. I did not find the video of Nikolai Levashov himself due to the fact that they are being cleaned up, and Levashov is being stunned in every possible way, however, I found a video of a real trainer Oleg Zubkov, who is dispersing lions with his slipper [91]. I don't know if he revealed the secret in any of the videos, because he has a lot of them, but the principle is the same - sweat from the feet.
Drinking from another soldier's shoe was a traditional hazing ritual in the German army, and soldiers drank from the general's shoe after a victory. During World War I, German soldiers were said to pass around a leather boot filled with beer to bring good luck before battle. Drinkers clicked their shoe before and after drinking from it [92]. In Germany, there is still a glass in the shape of a boot for mulled wine (fig. 328).
Now another question: Who were the women from the Voynich Manuscript taming? Vampires? Maybe. But the point was to mix it with food, because one of the schemes uses spelt. At the end of the article, I will suggest the option of who needed to be tamed.
Let's recall an excerpt from page 3 (2r),
2nd reading:
<...> "And you don't need tea, but you can give it to your enemies, intoxicate them, and put the demons in hell yourself. Shepherd is your childhood."
Now it becomes clear that there are recipes for poisons here to harass dark enemies in order to return these demons to hell. "Shepherd is your childhood" means subjugating enemies with sweat, when a person is a shepherd (shepherd), and demons are animals that he herds and beats with a whip.
In one magic book, the name of which I will not write for safety reasons, there is a spell through sweat with a description. I will not write the whole plot in the book, I will leave only that part of the plot that is needed for scientific purposes. Here is an excerpt from this book:
"Under Ivan the Terrible, sweat was a favorite tool in witchcraft. His enemies obtained it by bribing servants who soaked their master's sweat while he was sweating after drinking and eating. Through sweat, you can enchant, dry out, spoil or kill a person. Sweat was poured into the drink for a strong spell, and they made a faint on it. I'll teach you a love spell through sweat. First, they go to the sauna and wash themselves for the first time, then, having steamed up, they beat themselves with a broom, expelling copious sweat from their bodies. The sweat is collected in a vial and poured into food or drink to someone who needs to be dried.
As promised at the end of the withdrawal. So, the Chinese recipe talked about exorcism of spirits, the Voynich manuscript talks about the same ritual, but with the subjugation of spirits, and what does spelt with sweat have to do with it?
In the TV program "Inexplicable, but a fact" in the 2000s, they talked about the ceremony of exhuming corpses in a cemetery, which must be performed, but it was forgotten.
You need to boil a lot of porridge and place it near the exhumation site. Alarmed spirits will eat porridge and leave the people who disturbed them alone.
And now, according to the recipe described above, we will mix the sweat from the feet with spelt porridge, then these perfumes will obey the owner of the sweat. This means that the spirits who tormented the woman, after sitting in the "Pirovane", will obey her and carry out her orders.
There is also an image of a spoon in one of the pictures, which surprised me. But this is also explained: Shamanism even has a special spoon for feeding spirits. This suggests that it is unnecessary to set the porridge on fire.
The details of the rite should be searched throughout the book, because it is so arranged that parts of the rites are hidden in other parts of the book. Therefore, it is better to wait for the full translation, because the Chinese rite explains everything in a simplified way and, for example, left without a detailed explanation the creation of edible sulfur gum to emit smoke, and immediately switched to the creation of balls and pills.
