From the perspective of leaves mnemonics, that's not bad, because it is basically attested as "Schnitt-"lauch (Sniteloc etc.)
The problem is that the real plant does not look in this way at all, root included. And the eye is left unexplained.
Overall, not bad: we already have three options:
- centaurea cyanus (usage mnemonic in the root, more or less similar flowers, except the bud)
- oculus christi (direct imagery match, name mnemonic in the root, but the real plant is uncertain, for the violet colour)
- allium scoenoprasum (name mnemonic in the leaves, similar flowers, but otherwise the look is different)

Yes I thought of that, but as I guess this schoenoprasum is more like garlic which is not tear-producing. -

That's interesting, searcher. Apparently a combination of alliums was really used against the exact type of infection we're talking about. I still don't feel too comfortable about the arrangement of the leaves though. -
