I respectfully ask everybody to use an actual quote rather than periphrases, so every proposition is easier to check. Ie. I can't see anywhere in McCrone's report that the conclusions about inks are an "educated guess" as said by You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.

Apologies for the confusion.  Unfortunately the quotes "..." are commonly used for two very different purposes: to quote text verbatim, and to mark a phrase as euphemism, sarcasm, metaphor, misuse, etc,  Like when we say that there have been many "solutions" of the VMS, but none that has been widely accepted so far.
