The "S" character appears alone many times in the Voynich Manuscript. Of course we can't be sure that the EVA "S" was really intended to be "S". Can you comment on that?

S - "with"
S přáteli. (With friends.)
S knihou. (With a book.)
S rodinou. (With family.)
Thank you for your question, In my readings the EVA S is not "s". Remember that EVA transcription is modern and my readings do not agree with its transliteration.
Also on the other hand I have not read the whole document, nor do I understand everything.
From the narrow translations I have been sure of- the author uses the Instrumental case - these are the endings of the words without "s" in front. For example instead of "s vodou" only "vodou"- by means of water with water
A real example in f2r:
Read as Rucho ijMja from rucho- bandage is formed ruchoiMja- with bandage.
And here is another important finding-
In VM the cases are separated visually- when a reader sees rucho + ijMja
he ponders what is this strange word " ijMja".
The short words that appear frequently in VM are not separate words but grammatical endings. This is why the text resists simple substitution.
I hope that my answer is not censored and reaches you.
I have noticed that some of my answeres have been held for approval.
