(Q1) This smudge at the right end of line 4, presumably RpA, looks too much like a question mark to ignore.

I appreciate the write up. As for the supposed Q1 "?" symbol, I believe this is caused by the smudged/soaked stain from two EVA l symbols on 116r. 

I overlayed the multiscpectral image of 116v over the normal scan in order to see much of the 116r text bleeding through. I then used that bleedthrough to align the 116r scan, and then imposed that over both.
