I guess it's up to everyone to decide for themselves, but to me, this is a little uncouth.
We are questioning words only to be unveiled by death.
It is a lot of stretching (imo) to look beyond the simple explanation that a man was sworn to secrecy and relented only after death.
In any case it needs more evidence than "what was possible".
