The "ketchup seal" stains are on P1.

Also, looking closely at the images from the BL site, it seems that the "stains" are actually holes on P1, showing some vellum lining (U) of "f0v" under it.  

As if whoever removed P0, or a later restorer, noticed two air bubbles between U and P1, and shaved them off with a sharp blade, like P0 was shaved off.   Is that possible?
