Quote:Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the creator of the first human robot in the history of mankind- "GOLEM".

Just out of curiosity, do you actually believe that he created a golem that walked and did different tasks?

Maybe he asked it to write a book, it would explain a lot.

According to legends, automatons existed long before the Golem.

"Loew is the subject of the legend about the creation of a golem, a creature made out of clay to defend the Jews of the Prague Ghetto from antisemitic attacks, particularly the blood libel. He is said to have used mystical powers based on the esoteric knowledge of how God created Adam. The general view of historians and critics is that the legend is a German literary invention of the early 19th century."
There is also a theory that Golem of Prague was inspired by the earlier similar legend of golem from a Polish town of Chełm.
Somehow it happened that the Prague story is widely known but Chełm story is a bit forgotten:

My personal view is that some rabbi could have a big and strong but dim-witted servant who by exagerration became later the golem.

This is really far from that though. This is a stack of mud powered by magic words. It is not an "automation".
Personally I love this sort of stuff, I find it really interesting but we can't compare it to engineering.

Absolutely no one mentions this thing until hundreds of years later, where it can also turn invisible (convenient) and its remains had "vanished" when they finally had to have access to them, to which new theories were born. I think it is fairly safe to put this whole thing in the grade-A horse poop folder.

Just out of my experience as an engineer-
there are two facts in the legend, that are very persuasive:
A. The paper commands put in the "mouth" of Golem- if someone is old enough to have used FORTRAN and IBM machines knows that the programs  were written on perforated cards.
B. The rampant destruction, which Golem deed in the moment when it remained without commands.
Having expressed these things, there is no use to continue in this direction, because it will cause another avalanche of off-topic writings.
In the "P" letter of Q2f14v I read the name of the plant.
Possible or not possible, I read it.

Re: 16th Century Alchemists who can create Golems which can be programmed with punch-card encoded Fortran to write tiny humanistic script with their massive earthen hands.
