Nice! I think you found a good color for "Voynich blue".
When you get to the nymph, you will have to sculpt one of the more infamous objects in the VM, "the Thing". This will be your greatest challenge so far

This is the nymph so far, after glaze firing. "The Thing" will be the next step, that will be supported by the wire extending from her hand:

Apparently nymphs hold no secrets for you, Cary!
These are all so excellent, Cary. Might you consider in the future making 3D scans of your designs so that people can recreate them using e.g. a 3D printer? I would *love* to print that nymph!

The nymphs have not revealed
all their secrets to me. For example, this one looks like she might be keeping a secret or two:

Thanks, Julian. It's an interesting idea, but 3-D printing is not something I've really considered before. I have always been more focused on hand-made techniques and don't have any experience with 3-D scanning. Handmade techniques are what I really like to do so I've never had as much interest in more automated processes like that. I am more interested in making something unique rather than cloning these nymphs though mass-production.

But I won't say it could never happen. (Some 3-D printed version of these would not really be the same as what I am making with porcelain and glass though, so and I'm not sure that what I'm making would translate very well to that medium).
In any case, the lady is very proud of her star!

Thanks for your reply, Cary ... very understandable. Are any of your creations going to be for sale in the future?

They are not for sale right now, but most likely at some point down the road, yes. First I have more sculptures planned that I would like to make and show together before that.
Cary, I'm sure that handling the nymphs and their attributes will give you some insight into their meaning.
I wish you all the best!
