So if you left one of these on all day, would they use a lot of electricity compared to a "normal" lamp? And could they handle prolonged activity?

The short answers are no, they don't use a lot of electricity compared to a "normal" lamp, and yes, they definitely can handle prolonged activity. I will add a better answer later though, because it's a good question that I want to be able to better explain and understand myself

Cary, I would LOVE to visit your workshop sometime, now that Boston is opening up! If you're willing, DM me and let's work something out!

Since I've posted some updates here before about the making of my You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. inspired sculpture, I wanted to show how it looks now that it is finally finished:

[attachment=5729] [attachment=5728] I've long been wanting to sculpt this nymph from f82r- this is the finished figure in hand-sculpted porcelain with the glaze color applied. I'm planning to make something inspired by more of the surrounding structures too, for this figure to stand within. That part will probably be made from glass and other materials.

Seeing VM nymphs in 3D (which your sculptures are by far the best approximation of) does not make them any less weird
