  Also for You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. there is a w on it's side for Pi upside down. Could it be Wojnicz?  That would be the x glyph!

  No, it's probably a mistake. If you look closer at the glyph, you will notice that the t-leg comes from the center, not from the left side of the "pedestal". The scribe simply started writing in the wrong place and, apparently suffering from a bout of perfectionism, turned the writing into such a curve.

  Maybe...
  The special thing about x is that it is ONLY found in Currier B. In this case, his presence on the first page is unclear.

  I cannot pretend to know what goes on inside someone's head.  All I know is m is the first Letter for Michal.

  You may be even more interested in the fact that the famous text on You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. starts with 'mich' and ends with 'mich'. (Conventiently skipping the poxleber line in the margin, and the final 'o').

  This sounded interesting, I found out that the plus signs + could be used as a count for letters in a vigenere cipher.  Looking at the first line for the first two words. + mivain and the other word + added to 17 then you reverse and forward the letters 17 times.  I chose "vai" for the letters to represent the voynich glyphs out of the "mivain" word from the first word. 
     
  
  
  An interesting abbreviation if you have followed for the first word was translated.  You have to use only the first letters.
  
  Look at the left column for MIVAIN in the attachment. 
  
  Ironically a metaphor of Mi vain could be his vainity. 
  M translates to V               hmm
  I  translates to  R for real
  V translates to  ME             hmm

  At the time of the 15th century, the Vigenère cipher could not exist. I assume that this is an attempt to translate the 8th recipe from f104r. Some of the words look similar to those in f116v, such as oladabad and qokaiin qotaiin d. However, this translation is most likely incorrect or only partially correct.
