  So I found this rather amusing coincidence with a part of the VMS marginalia on folio f116v:

  Anyway, it's most probably nothing but I found it cool.

  Correct version: also on underlaß vbten
  
  "on" = "ohne" not "auf"
  
  and that is a not a "k" but a "ß" underlaß
  
  also ohne Unterlaß übten = so practiced without ceasing (but "übten" is more "do it" difficult to translate into english)
