  There are flowers on top, but no leaves. However, given the formulaic nature of the text and image below, it seems quite logical to find it there. Perhaps this can tell us a bit more about the spell.

  Thank you for your reply. Yea it gives a lot of room for paraedolias; hope in the future a better match is made. Maybe it is not posible as today to know what drawing that is. we will see.

  I found a curiosity. These Pointing hands marginalia drawings. I wonder why diferent ms share this iconography.
     
  I mean one would expect particularities depending on the individual but both are a pointing hand.
  What kind of teaching or practice may have been so generalized that when a reader wanted to stand out a line of text in a ms, it has to do it with a hand? They could have made like an asterisc or like a dragon or something, it is odd.
  
  It this could be a schoolar trait of a particular educative building, area or philosophy, it could be super awesome evidence of context. This could be an off-voynich topic to find those pointing hands in ms. Just for the fun of it, because i do not see a line of research twards the voynich, at least as it is now.
  Or maybe is just better here as a curiosity, and forget about it.

  This is a very common thing, found in many manuscripts. It later became known as the 'maniculum' or manicule.

  The only other maniculum cases in the Erbario is the 137v, There is no more. It could be cool if the maniculum is asociated with a important keyword like "maria" or something religiously special, but i guess that that would be too convinient.
  
  I haven't found the maniculum it in the voynich. The most simiar thing in the voynich are the stars that appear from 103v to 116r to the left of the walls of text. By the way, there is an isolated case in in top left of 58v, i wonder  why there are no more stars on that page. (Similar in style to those the nymps hold in the astrological section.) And this isolate case may count to the ordering of the pages in a way i think, because it is like an anomaly given how evident the sections look [Or maybe it is just a shared style.]
  
  Another important diference between the Erbario LSJ419 and the vms is that the text goes over the plants, if the drawing gets in the way of the text, the text overwrites the drawing. But there are special variations:
  
  In the f29r,121,137,159 of the Erbario the drawing of the plant is respected as happens in the vms.
  There is a failed attempt at page 5, 51,63,158,
  At page 39, something interesting happens, there are like ---- to indicate skip to the other side. Those markis are non-existent in the vms i think.

  It is still used today.  Unicode even has codes for it:
  
  U+261E ☞ (Right-pointing, white)
  U+261C ☜ (Left-pointing, white)
  U+261D☝(Up-pointing - should be black-and-white but the Unicode committee screwed up)
  U+2609 ☟ (Down-pointing white)
  
  U+261B ☛ (Right-pointing, black)
  U+261A ☚ (Left-pointing, black)
  
  U+1F449 ? (Right pointing, Emoji version)
  U+1F448 ? (Left pointing, Emoji version)
  U+1F446 ? (Up pointing, Emoji version)
  U+1F447 ? (Down pointing Emoji version)
  
  There are also versions of (some of?) the Emojis with brown skin instead of yellow skin.
  
  Unfortunately this "wonderful" MyBB forum software replaces the Unicode emoji codes by '?'...
