Thanks for the link Mauro. I realize that these are Sun and Moon but never could find good similar pictures.
The pictures from your link are good matches. Visoki Decani still has the most extreme spaceship-like Sun and Moon but we can see now it belongs to some tradition. -

Today the Voynich manuscript surprised me again and, with God's help, revealed another of its secrets. It is an analog astronomical computer, a small part of which I assembled thanks to my profession as a mechanical engineer and am now publishing it. -

And do you understand the mechanism? I have a paper model on my desk with the gears. Can you imagine how it turns and shows the sun rising and the moon setting? It's brilliant. The author of the manuscript must have been excellent in mechanics, mathematics, astrology, etc. -
