Radim, all what you write about Kircher is probably true but how does it relate to Voynich Manuscript?

Someone who shared the same interests, had access to the same body of information, and maintained contacts in the relevant locations. Someone who commanded the languages in question. At this point, it seems to me that Peiresc and Kircher fit every aspect of my theory. I am aware that carbon dating points to a different date of origin for the Voynich manuscript. But does that date refer to the creation of the parchment or the content? -

After all some people claim that it was Wilfried Voynich himself who fabricated the manuscript
Maybe I'll only say that I don't agree with many of your interpretations but you dig up some interesting pictures so please keep up your work. -

Thanks for the support. Of course, looking back, I can see some areas for improvement, but I’m letting it be. The journey itself is important, too. I’m continuing for now; I still have things to work on and present. -

Arabic magical and alchemical texts contain instructions for creating and activating protective talismans and amulets. This one resembles a pair of scales. It does not represent the zodiac sign of Libra. Regarding the Voynich manuscript, I remain of the opinion that these are not zodiac signs, but rather protective talismans and seals. For a book of such ingenuity and sophistication, it would make little sense to feature something as obvious as the signs of the zodiac. I see a connection to the Book of Enoch in the astronomical section, which describes the workings of the universe and the planets, as well as angelic influences.

Actually neither resemble the traditional sign of Cancer -- the crab. One is two scorpions, the other two crayfish.
But both are arranged opposite hard-to-tail, like the common depiction of Pisces -- which I guess derives from the traditional Western "reading" of the constellation on the sky.
If the VMS was scribed North of the Alps, the Scribe may have never seen a scorpion. Could it be that he (or the author of whatever book he used as "inspiration") misinterpreted a double-scorpion sign of Arabic origin as a pair of crayfish?

Maybe...
Nevertheless, he had an idea of Scorpio (the same as other Europeans perceived it). It turns out that if the author was really inspired, it was most likely without any hint or symbolism.
