Some of you may remember my early posts about the symbolic structure of the Voynich glyphs. At the time I’d developed what became Refinement 1 of the decode key. After that, I withdrew and continued the work independently.
A major part of that work is now complete, and it has revealed more.
Refinement 4 is now published on Academia. It includes:
- All 22 glyphs — the rare forms v and z are still under analysis; the rest are fully defined
- Procedural and harmonic architecture linking to Neoplatonism and the Music of the Spheres
- Planetary tone structure (f p t k) as modal anchors — the gallows glyphs, which only ever appear between ch
- Elixir system, spiritus, vital fluid, and full solar cycle logic

- A proposed authorship link to Lucrezia Tornabuoni, with ties to the Santa Maria Novella apothecary through her brother, Giovanni Tornabuoni
- The 9-radial diagram (f85r2) decoded as a geothermal thermal water map, corresponding to Bagno al Morbo and Volterra — currently undergoing further mapping and research
- Zodiac radial charts now understood as treatment guides by star sign
- Zodiac radial images of threads topped with stars represent spiritus — the tether from the ritual subject to the cosmos
The code has not broken under testing — it has strengthened. I would love someone to show me where it doesn’t work.
The system is
not a language — and cannot be one.
No natural language permits constructs like
eeee,
iiii, or
oooooooo.
But in a harmonic, symbolic system governed by procedure and cycle? They make perfect sense.
You don’t have to believe it, but you’re invited to test it. All spreadsheets are available, and the system works. I welcome genuine engagement — including reasoned challenge.
I’m currently working with an Italian music professor from Milan who’s reviewing the harmonic structure. He’s already noted musical coherence in the gallows glyphs, modal pauses, and beat timing.
