In other words, a pair of paired sequences.

It's 2 x 17 + 2 x 17.

The first two have f in the ninth position. The second two have p in the ninth position.

That's true, good point. And until we have some clue what the ring of glyphs symbolizes, it's not possible to say what significance, if any, this has.

Quote:Number of pages (like the page count in a novel, not the number of sheets). Nablator reports:

227 known (and named) pages + missing folios: 12, 59-64, 74, 91, 92, 97, 98, 109, 110.

I'd add to this one additional folio (2 pages) cut from f96 (see You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view., p. 11-12)

On the subject of animals. Maybe my imagination is running away with me here, but sometimes I see a rabbit. It is somewhat covered with paint, but you could recognize a hare.

This would then be a symbol of fertility.

The red creature likely has a split tail. See this image by JKP:

Hmm indeed, I see a rabbit too. How could it go unnoticed before?

Played a while with color transforms, probably JKP is right, it's rather a split tail

It is. In Aga's picture on the right, you can also clearly see the line connecting his rabbit's nose to the rear end of the red critter Smile
