The answer is that it isn’t actually a plant root. So, what is it, then? Well, it’s something that looks exactly like a plant root. So, if it looks like a root and walks like a root... is it a duck?
In other words, what has been depicted here is something that bears a striking resemblance to a root.
That’s just how it looks, isn’t it? Instead of focusing on appearances, why not consider the fundamental nature of roots?
The function of a root is to take in water and nutrients, and to transport them from the stem to the leaves. In other words, it is the primary organ that sustains life—or, metaphorically, the initial starting point of any endeavor.
What we see here is a model—a representation—of that concept, cast in the form of a root.
So, what exactly is being modeled? Uncovering that is the key to solving the mystery.
Hint: A specific technique is used to connect the roots and the stem. Let’s take a close look at the illustration.
This is an interesting idea. The exploration is also quite informative for example I learned that some plants are carnivores or more specifically insectivores.
But yeah I can see how such speculation could misfire. for what its worth though does anyone else interpret this root in 46v other than a set of wings?

this plant is one of my favorites. the way its drawn like structurally is appealing I might do some analysis I suspect a golden ratio or something of something of that sort.
also what’s your approach here because I’d like to be on the same page. if there was indeed a musical symphony to be deciphered how would you get it by analyzing the images?
Edit: I found this very interesting thread on the wings so nevermind that
