That is not the case.

My interpretation of the image is based on the premise that it is not necessary to be able to decipher the text. Explaining the reasoning behind this here would likely not be understood.

As a hint: in this era, important matters were sometimes passed down through oral tradition. I am operating on the assumption that the text presented here was explained directly via such oral transmission.

I have begun to explain my interpretation of the image, but since it seems that many of you are finding the very first step confusing, I intend to provide an explanation that allows for a gradual, step-by-step understanding.

Before I read your interpretation, may I add a caveat? Images interpretation is fray with difficulties, because the tendency is one 'sees' in the images what one has in his mind, rather than what the image wanted to convey. I always have to resort to the same examples again and again, but, oh well... people thinking it's a book about anatomy see organs, people thinking it's an alchemical book see alchemical instruments, people thinking it's the Book of Enoch see scenes from the Book of Enoch, and so on and on. The point is: in images like Voynich's it's rather easy to find similarities to almost everything. So be careful, if this is what you plan to do.
