Hiding encrypted vords on a page might be overkill. How about hiding long segments of text in the circular bands in the zodiac, rosette, and astronomical sections and having them identified by patterned markers? Breaking a text into several marked segments would compound the security, particularly if the markers could be disguised. It would be a useful technique, particularly if the author knew that his encryption *was* weak. The VMs artist put the markers in place.
