Many of us do not believe it is a map. For me, it’s a relational world view that includes creation, foundation and apocalyptic prophecy as a foundation for alchemy. It borrows cartographic and geographic devices to show, realistically or metaphorically, how the author views the world and its interconnectness. It resembles closely cosmological diagrams and various images from Raymond Llul. I can surely see why you’ve used this overlay to show resemblance as well. Good work.
