Please finally understand that the plants in the VMS are composites; they are not realistic botanical drawings. The VMS is not a medical treatise. The illustrations in the VMS are spiritual reflections of plants, intended to mirror a religious text—or rather, a parable. Incidentally, my example of the Solomon’s seal root is a much closer match than your example involving *Dentaria glandulosa*. The stem, leaves, and flower cannot be compared, as they originate from different sources. I apologize, but I must stand by my interpretation. I do agree with you, however, that the rest of the plant is different. Yet I could be mistaken, and you might be right. I repeat: this concerns only the root.
