Good find!
Hans Folz was born between 1435 and 1440 and became active as a writer after 1470. The majority of his plays appear to be dated to the 1470s-80s and prints of his works were issued in the 1490s. He ceased his literary activities in the mid-1490s and died in 1513.
What makes Hans Folz different is that he was pre-reformatory and not anti-clerical. He made the same vulgar Fastnachtsspiele has his later successors, but they were mere entertainment, not political or religious provocation or agitation. Fastnachtsspiele were a fictional reverse of order and the audience understood this. There was nothing revolutionary in Folz works, on the contrary. Folz was an artisan and businessman. He sold (rather shallow) entertainment, often degrading older literary works that had a moral message to mere slapstick. But all rather tame and without angering the political and clerical leaders of the city. He did re-compile and modify older works so I do not think it's far-fetched that pox-swearing significantly pre-dates him.
