This is not the zodiac sign Capricorn. It is a depiction of a gazelle on a protective magical talisman seal for the Moon or Venus. Like the Ethiopian protective scrolls, the images contain magical symbols *charaktêres*. I will gradually add other seals for the remaining circular diagrams.

Also, absolutely fascinating, but I do wonder how you then explain the overtly northern European dress of Gemini for example...  I'm reminded of Lisa's 3 rules....
