Hi Tom,
- The German word for "Aquarius" is "Wassermann". The plural is "Wassermänner" or "Wassermaenner". Both are acceptable written forms. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is the entry in a German dictionary: "NOUN der Wassermann | die Wassermänner." Since you used plural for "Lions", I will use the plural form of Wassermann.
- "Zwillingsbaby" is a German term for "Twin-child". You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is an entry in a German dictionary.
- "Skorpius" was used in Medieval German documents. -JKP- confirms this. I don't have any examples on my computer, maybe he can supply some if he has them?
- "Bogenschütze" means "Archer" in German (literally Bow-shooter) and Bogenschützen is a form of that word - You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is a dictionary page that shows both. Since "ü" in German can and has been written as "ue" since the Middle Ages (both forms are completely acceptable), I opted for "ue".
- You're right that I made a mistake with "jungefrou", but there were about 8 different ways to spell that word alone in Middle German (frou, frau, frowe, froue etc.), so I could find a replacement easily.
