Sure. It is actually a well known trick called pseudoepigraphy. See the Wikipedia article for nuances.

By the way, in the past people didn't see pseudoepigraphy as some blatant lie. Imagine that some rabbi writes a text which claims that it is written by Moses. By accident he gets caught red-handed.
He would easily get away with it, claiming that the spirit of Moses was speaking though him, and there is nothing in the text that Moses wouldn't say, so he could actually say it, so we can call it words of MosesOr use similar "talmudic logic".
Very interesting. The pictorial appendices follow the text of 1 and 2 of the Book of Enoch very precisely and in detail, including the mapping of Enoch's world. Several authors have already tried to draw a map of Enoch's world, but no one has succeeded in doing so in as much detail as in the Voynich manuscript. I don't understand how the author of the Voynich manuscript could describe the entire world of Enoch, including the heavens and astronomy and astrology, so logically and technically and graphically. Sometimes I think that it must have been Enoch himself (Thovt, Hermes Trismegistos) .
