Just as the Gospels were attributed to four Apostles -- because they tell the deeds and teachings of Jesus, and only the Apostles could have witnessed all of them.

Oh come on Jorge, do your homework,  apostle <> disciple   Out of supposed Four Evangelists only two - Matthew and John were ones of 12 Apostles. Mark and Luke weren't. There are some guesses about Mark and Luke that they were minor disciples of Jesus, present in Jerusalem when Jesus was crucified but they aren't confirmed. If we ignore them then Mark and Luke were "second generation" Christians.
