Maybe they correspond to zodiac constellations (maybe as symbols of the corresponding sign) and maybe that would link them with the cardinal directions?

Recently we discussed a very simple (and somehow messy) You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. which has a central feature with graphics comparable to f67v2. I guess that for a diagram with a 4+4 layout the 4 elements and the 4 Galenic properties are the most obvious candidates, but this interpretation does not easily explain most of the other details in the two Voynich diagrams.
