My interests are mainly with the illustrations and their potential connections to history and to historic images. I don't know much about the botanical, astrological, alchemical, etc. aspects of the VMs. I have no real understanding of the VMs language, no interpretation of the glyphs, no clues regarding a potential plain-text language or about the possible use of encryption.
My only thought at present is about the possibility of internal repetition in the circular VMs wreath text and whether that might match the historical examples.
