I was thinking of a Yale/Google Study Group. In the real world, what is being done at Yale seems to me like our best hope for actual progress.
People at Google are great at computer science and computational linguistics. In particular, I would like to know You are not allowed to view links. For instance, his expertise on text normalization could be applied to making sense of the different "dialects". Indeed the text could be meaningless or the meaning unrecoverable: the world could be doomed.
Would the President be willing to invest on glossolalia? I don't think that could count as a "solution", but I would be curious to have access to more extensive transcriptions.
