About the hair/veil: I agree that it looks more like loose strands of hair. The difference with the other examples though, is that this nymph has her hair done up in a bun or whatever, while most of the others have their hair somewhat loose. This one seems to combine both a tidy and a "wild" hair style, which is why I thought it could be a veil instead. But I agree it looks more like hair. Anyway, this is not essential to my reading of the figure, though it is likely an important aspect of the image.
But yes, the nose indeed. It's not only hooked, but as you say the bridge is quite large. Now, one more thing: what about the hand on the (viewer's) left?
