And the answer is maybe they do not want to be awaken. It is like a heavenly dream, that if one is awoken one may hurt oneself, like with the somnambulism.
Forgive my bad memory, Bess, have you published a translation of the manuscript?

Could You define what is a hypothetical translation
With a "hypothetical translation" I mean one that is being talked about, but has not yet been shown to the world, and whose correctness is therefore completely up in the air. It may not be more meaningful than "Prisencolinensinainciusol", but we simply do not know.

WOW
‘Prisencolinensinainciusol’.
At first I thought that described the effect of castor oil.
I actually had to google it.
Who would have thought that Adriano was behind it.
Although I know him as an actor and singer, I would never have realised it.
Well, give the monkey sugar.

For the lolz:
From the appendix: Cipher Alphabets Available in 1912 to Voynich
Robert C. Williams or his ghostwriter wrote:1. The EVA (European Voynich Alphabet), as developed by Polish historian Rene Zandbergen and Gabriel Landini in 1998, guesses at which letters might coincide with particular characters in the VMS. The manuscript remains unreadable and undecipherable. The alphabet letters have been available since 1912.

Other factual errors (I only checked a few things):
In chapter 4:
Quote:Douglas Blackburn, a South African policeman, (1857-1929) published A Detection of Forgery, the first British handbook for analyzing suspect documents, handwriting, paper, ink, and watermarks.
But in chapter 7:
Quote:As we have seen, Douglas Blackburn (1857-1929), a maverick pro-Boer British journalist, published an innovative book on The Detection of Forgery in 1909 based on his work in South Africa for the secret service and the Natal Criminal Investigating Department of the Transvaal Republic after the Boer War.
Chapter 7 is correct:
Quote:English journalist and novelist

Rachkovsky died on October 19 (November 1), 1910 at the Rezitsa railway station (now Rezekne, Latvia)

No but it's possible, I guess.
