That does look like a star! Unfortunately, the rest of the series doesn't really stand out, apart from perhaps a slightly goaty Aries.

line 168, Ms. Ludwig XII 8 (83.MO.137)I added the other entry though, its definitely a star in all 3 virgos. Is there an explanation for it anywhere?

There are lots of depictions similar to this; they are representations of the constellation virgo. That's why they have the stars all over the depiction.

VMS virgo differs in that there is a single star, which is far far rarer.
