This should hit home for everyone here enjoying this theory.  Lupus is a misnomer for the constellation that is a Leopard and it still had a triangle at its head.  Hence the tongues Leopard in August.

They made an error and renamed Leopard to Lupus! The Leopard constellation was around when author of MS-408 Leo Meco in 1006 displayed the leopard with the tongue sticking out too signal the supernova to the South; to say this means speaking in tongues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all you enjoying my theory.  If you would like to listen to all the posts from here at Voynich Ninja on this theory.  I have a real good audio about my theory with some images.  Here it is from youtube.

I was not going to post this as part of my theory for fear of it being a bit too complicated.  Yet the author Leo Meco was a complicated man.  He knew his cipher and hidden language of glossolalia would be very difficult to find so he did leave very obscure clues (In a way he wanted it cracked).  This one for the reader takes some thought.  Taurus and Pleiades was in the 9:30 position on April 30th 1006 the supernova.  The plant on You are not allowed to view links. Was Leo Meco implying or telling us that's Taurus with an off clue?

What Does 37% Illumination Mean?
Waxing Crescent Phase: A 37% illuminated moon is considered a Waxing Crescent. "Waxing" means the illuminated portion is growing larger, and "crescent" means it is less than half-lit (less than 50%).

Regarding the hue of the greenish color, I believe that mostly occurred toward the setting of the supernova for the year 1006, due to atmospheric conditions of the southwest or west.  The green stars of You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. is the supernova of 1006.

[attachment=15238]

Quote:It is entirely possible that a bright supernova like SN 1006 could have shown a greenish hue while setting in the southwest, particularly due to atmospheric refraction, scattering, and the phenomenon known as the "green flash".

At a peak visual magnitude of around −7.5, SN 1006 was significantly brighter than Venus and visible during the daytime. When such a bright, point-like light source approaches the horizon, atmospheric conditions can distort its appearance dramatically.

Green Flash Phenomenon: Just before a very bright setting object disappears below the horizon, atmospheric refraction bends the light, separating it into colors like a prism. Because blue and green light bend more than red, green is often the last visible color before an object sets, producing a "green flash".

Atmospheric Scattering: As light travels through more of the atmosphere near the horizon, blue and violet light are scattered, leaving red, yellow, and green. Depending on the density of the atmosphere and particles, this can sometimes lead to a green hue rather than a deep red.
Twinkling and Color Changes: The extreme brightness of SN 1006, combined with the thick layer of air near the horizon, would cause intense atmospheric scintillation (twinkling), which often produces alternating flashes of color.

While some records describe SN 1006 as having a yellowish hue (likely due to the low altitude), the atmospheric conditions in the southwest during its setting would have been ideal for creating shifting, greenish, or multicolored appearances.

Quote:Ibn Sina (also known as Avicenna) is the source identified by researchers as having recorded the greenish-yellow color of the SN 1006 supernova in his text Kitab al-Shifa (Book of Healing), noting its evolution from a faint green-yellow to white. This observation adds color detail not found in other records.

Key Source: Ibn Sina (Avicenna) is credited with describing the color evolution of the brightest recorded supernova (SN 1006).
The Source Material: Kitab al-Shifa (Book of Healing) contains the description.
Color Description: He noted it was initially a faint greenish-yellow, sparkled intensely, and then turned white.
Location: While not in Cairo, the report is from his observations during 1006 while in Uzbekistan, as documented by recent studies.
Context: The sighting was corroborated with other findings, including those from Cairo's Ibn Ridwan, who documented the same event in 1006.

It is important to distinguish that while Ibn Ridwan is the primary observer living in Cairo, it was Ibn Sina's text that described the specific greenish-yellow color.

This just verified my substitution cipher, it's a lock.  A full moon is the halfway point between the waning and waxing crescent moons.  The measurement for that halfway point is Pi, 3.14 You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.

Within the inner circle of f67r1 sits a picture of the moon with opposing, waning and waxing crescent moons.  The half-point of that is a full moon. In post You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. it should be waning crescents.

Quote:The Two Midpoints
The lunar cycle is a continuous loop, which means there are actually two different "halfway points" involving the crescent phases:

The Full Moon (The Illuminated Midpoint): If you are moving from the Waxing Crescent (growing) toward the Waning Crescent (shrinking), the Full Moon is the glorious halfway point where the sun's light completely covers the Earth-facing side of the moon.

The New Moon (The Dark Midpoint): If you are moving from the Waning Crescent (the last sliver of the old moon) to the Waxing Crescent (the first sliver of the new moon), the halfway point is actually the New Moon, where the moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun.

The Chronological Flow
To visualize where everything sits, here is the standard progression of the lunar month:

New Moon (The "Zero" point)

Waxing Crescent

First Quarter

Waxing Gibbous

Full Moon (The 100% illumination peak)

Waning Gibbous

Third Quarter

Waning Crescent

New Moon (Back to start)

In this 29.5-day journey, the Full Moon is the ultimate midpoint of the entire cycle starting from the New Moon, representing the moment the "waxing" (increasing) stops and the "waning" (decreasing) begins.

Do you track the moon phases for a specific project, or are you just looking at the mechanics of the orbital alignment?
Regarding Pi, this could be a random artefact of my cipher and it is not even a Latin word my mistake.  This is really creepy the moon of the image is looking in the direction where Pi was found.  The evidence backed up the claim I made for the image.  The cipher has been flawless till now.  Something for proto57 perhaps.

Quote:The earliest known use of the Greek letter π to represent the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter was by the Welsh mathematician William Jones in 1706. The invention of calculus soon led to the calculation of hundreds of digits of π, enough for all practical scientific computations. Nevertheless, in the 20th and 21st centuries, mathematicians and computer scientists have pursued new approaches that, when combined with increasing computational power, extended the decimal representation of π to hundreds of trillions of digits. wikipedia
This whole dating of MS-408 is entirely frustrating without approaching that Wilfred Voynich could have done it or someone from the 19th century besides him.  Could  it be a whole organization for money and fame?  How would Leo Meco circa 1006 living at that time know Columba constellation when its 16th century and Pi for 18th century.  That Lupus/Leopard was exactly behind earth and the Dove was 180 degrees to the South East of Lupus, thus Pi.  Folio 69r You are not allowed to view links.
