  Two heroes become aware of this plot and with their superior Forum Administrating and Editorial skillsets
    they begin the fight against goropism.
The Koen with trusty sidekick tavie in tow launch their response with weapons of withering wit, searing satire, slick science and explosive logic bombs -Kablooey !!


Episode 3 -The Experts strike back

    using their knowledge of the internet they bombard the boards of academia with mind-virus Megabyte PDFs in multiple languages.
  The carefully crafted files which are filled with harmonious vowels, agglutination, subject-object-verb order, and lack of grammatical gender,
    culminate in an arpeggio of Pecheneg loanwords leaving the readers dazed, confused and blindly accepting Kipchak family dipthongs.
  As the people of the world start to place their accents on the last syllable of a word ... Are our Heroes defeated !!!. 


Episode 4 -An AI appears
"The Code Is Deciphered. The Answer Is Evident! How Does AI Assess the Findings on the Voynich Manuscript?"

--The Artificial Intelligence DratCPT makes its move, consulted by the experts in a bid to achieve complete victory.
  the experts ask the AI to give the final verdict on their theory.
  The Koen steps up and with all the logical power expected of a Master in Historical Linguistics musters a series of arguments,
    in seconds these arguments are brilliantly editorialized by tavie and relayed to DratCPT ...
  In whose favor will the AI decide ?
  Can it even be trusted ?
  Is DratCPT the dark horse in this world domination game ?

- He is probably right in objecting to one minor aspect of the critiism: the Voynich Ninja is 'just' a discussion group, and has no formal standing in the world of Voynich research. Opinions presented here do not represent the 'truth'.

- Ahmet Ardic is himself an electrical engineer and not an Old Turkish expert.


- That Koen and Tavi's video does not address or refute any of his arguments is completely irrelevant. This is a fake argument, but could in principle be an honest misunderstanding on his side. It is entirely possible to find major faults that are not related to the evidence presented. Mr Ardic also has not addressed any arguments against his hypothesis, as far as I know.

These are of course just points for consideration, not proof that Ahmet Ardic is wrong (but I have no doubt that he is).

I firmly believe that quite often someone is so obviously wrong about something that continued debate can only work in their favor. If a viewpoint has no credibility left, engaging with it in any way will enhance its perceived significance.

This thread is so funny. 

Koen, you have my sympathy. Keep up the good work.

We now know that there is a 105% probability that the VMS is Turkish.

My suggestion:
Create a 'VIP' forum section for 'full solutions of the VM' and move all such 'solutions' there.
Only people who believe they have 'solved' the VM should to post or comment in this section while we foolish low-lifes stay out.
Maybe put up a notice 'By posting in this section I confirm that I have found a full solution to the VM'
Let them discuss among themselves.

An interesting concept.
Of course, already now, everyone has the choice to stay out of such discussions.
Everyone can decide on what he/she wants to spend how much time...

For the average solver though, I don't think there is any malicious intent involved. I still like to see the person behind the theory and keep in mind that they are more than likely regular people who have been misled (by their own inventions, but still misled). Call me naive, but with each individual, it might be worthwhile to try if reason works. I believe many of us tried to see if we could solve the MS early on, and it may have been our interactions with others (or reading the work of others) that steered us in a more productive way. The people on Tavi's list are usually those who don't change their (mutually exclusive) views, but there might be others who course corrected before being on the list. For that reason, I think some communication with theorists might still be beneficial to the study, as long as it can happen in a constructive way.

That said, some cases are not quite average and their proponents make it hard, if not impossible, to maintain civil discourse (or any discourse, for that matter). I don't need to name examples.
