Ah but if you assume EVA-o is o, then why isn't EVA-d s or d? And EVA-a, a? And EVA-r, r? They all have similar counterparts in regular Latin texts, just like o does.

So then we're looking at vodar or vosar. That in turn would imply that you now discovered readings for several glyphs. Then you'll end up on Tavi's list and we have to explain why the theory doesn't work.

(An admittedly dramatic way of saying: why assume o is o?)

We can also consider the initial  "Um" to represent an entire word.
By searching in Cappelli:

It  is just a simple case that could be evaluated manually (while writing a custom code for large datasets).

It is a possibility indeed and ydain could be a distinct vord in <1r.9>, because ydain occurs as a distinct vord also in <13v.8>, <14v.1>, <16r.8>, <33v.1>, and <75r.20> but not as a paragraph starter.

However, on the remaining 2-out-of-8 occasions ydain occurs in the first vord in each one of the two paragraphs in You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. and has k as a prefix: kydainy in <2r.1>, and kydain in <2r.8>.

What if k is 'Um'?

Food for thought: If the Beneventan approach is a part of the cipher design, then all gallows could possibly be ligatures of two letters.
There is a similarity in the formation of the the distinct gallows [attachment=10489] and [attachment=10490] and
the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. per- and pro-, [attachment=10491] and [attachment=10492].
In this example of You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view., some similarities with cipher symbols are enclosed in red.

One major difference between the cipher manuscript and Beneventan scripts is the lack of punctuation marks in the cipher manuscript.
Are you going to put Beneventan in every sentence describing generic medieval Latin? The abbreviations are generic too, not Beneventan.
